Brody Trosclair commits to Tennessee from Northwestern State

Pitcher Brody Trosclair has committed to the University of Tennessee, transferring from Northwestern State. The left-handed pitcher, who had a standout season with a 1.89 ERA and 55 strikeouts over 38 innings, chose Tennessee after considering offers from Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, and Florida. Trosclair was awarded Southland Conference Freshman of the Year honors but his season was cut short by an arm injury in April. He has three years of eligibility remaining and will not be draft eligible until 2028. Trosclair joins Tennessee's transfer portal class, which also includes Braydon Kersey, as the team looks to bolster its pitching staff for the upcoming season.
