Taylor Black has departed from his position as Florida baseball assistant coach to join NC State's staff as the recruiting coordinator. Previously associated with NC State from 2014 to 2017, Black will work under newly appointed head coach Chris Hart. During his tenure at Florida, he contributed to the team reaching the College World Series twice. Following a disappointing season where Florida finished with a 41-21 record and was eliminated in their regional, the program faces the challenge of replacing both Black and recently fired pitching coach David Kopp.
