Kevin Verpaele decommits from Pittsburgh, considers USF, Auburn, South Carolina

Four-star quarterback Kevin Verpaele from Merritt Island High has decommitted from Pittsburgh after a verbal commitment since October. Verpaele’s decision opens up interest from USF, where his family has ties, as well as Auburn and South Carolina. He recently visited USF and plans to schedule more visits soon. During his junior season, he completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,714 yards and 27 touchdowns, demonstrating strong potential that caught the attention of recruiters.
