OU athletics extends Learfield partnership, plans NIL center on campus

The University of Oklahoma's athletics department announced an extension of its partnership with Learfield on June 9, 2026. This deal includes the construction of the Sooner Evolution Center, aimed at helping student-athletes maximize their name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities. The center will feature resources for NIL strategy, content creation, and athlete education. Additional staffing will focus on NIL deal-making and expanding the athletics content creation team. The partnership will also connect Learfield with major facility projects for OU, including renovations at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and a new arena for basketball and gymnastics. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
