Ramsey baseball secured a 6-3 victory over West Morris in the NJSIAA Group 2 state semifinal on Monday. The Rams built a commanding 6-0 lead by the fourth inning, scoring four runs in the third and adding a two-run homer by Connor McNally. Despite a late rally from West Morris, Ramsey held on for the win thanks to a complete game from pitcher Joe Scarnecchia. With this victory, Ramsey (21-8) moves on to the Group 2 championship game against the winner of the Haddon Heights vs. Gov. Livingston matchup, set for Sunday at Rutgers University.
