Sporting Club Jacksonville women's soccer transitions to a spring-to-fall season starting in 2027, moving away from the fall-to-spring structure introduced in 2024. The USL Gainbridge Super League will begin a shorter fall league this August, featuring eight teams competing in 14 games each. The final match is scheduled for November 28, with playoffs following in December. Preseason training for Sporting Jax is set to start in early July. This change aims to enhance player movement and community engagement, according to USL president Amanda Vandervort.
