Texas A&M aims for 2027 5-star cornerback and lineman commitments

Texas A&M is expected to secure commitments from 2027 prospects Joshua Dobson, a five-star cornerback, and Albert Simien, a five-star offensive lineman, after they recently took official visits to the campus. Dobson has indicated that Texas A&M is currently his top choice but plans additional visits to Michigan and South Carolina. Recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong believes Dobson is likely to commit to the Aggies, although they are also pursuing fellow five-star cornerback John Meredith, who has shown interest in Texas. The Aggies' recruiting class now includes 20 commitments, bolstered by the recent addition of five-star kicker Andres von der Meden, and they are positioned to maintain the No. 1 class ranking pending further commitments.
