West Ouachita baseball, softball earn LSWA Class 4A honorable mentions

The Louisiana Sports Writers Association announced its Class 4A All-State baseball and softball honorable mentions on June 9. West Ouachita High School's Cali Smith, Emmey Tullos, Trigger Booth, Kamryn Henley, and Holdyn Herring received recognition for their performances. The West Ouachita baseball team finished the season with a 14-20 record, losing in the first round of the playoffs, while the softball team ended the season at 15-17 after facing state champions in three of its final five games.
