Cristian Volpato (born 15 November 2003) is a professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Serie A club Sassuolo. Born in Australia, he represented Italy internationally at youth level, before switching allegiance to Australia at senior level. Volpato was born in Camperdown, an inner western suburb of Sydney in Australia. He attended the prestigious rugby school St Joseph's College Hunters Hill. Volpato is of Italian descent, both his parents are second generation Italians.
