Dominik Robin Schmid is a 28-year-old Swiss professional footballer who plays as a left-back or wing-back for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg. A versatile player, he most often plays on the left wing in either defense or midfield. Schmid has played in all youth teams for Switzerland. On 16 March 2023, he received his first call up to the Switzerland national football team in preparation for their upcoming UEFA Euro qualifying campaign.
