Fernando Gabriel Tatís Medina Jr. (tah-TEES; born 2 January 1999), nicknamed "El Niño" or "Bebo", is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop and right fielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is the son of former MLB player Fernando Tatís Sr. Tatís Jr. stands 6 feet 3 inches (191 cm) tall and weighs 217 pounds (98 kg). He made his MLB debut in 2019, won the Silver Slugger Award in 2020, and was named an All-Star in 2021.
