Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia (born 14 January 1997 in Turin) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Bagnaia became the 2018 Moto2 World Champion after winning 8 races during the season at: Losail, Circuit of the Americas, Le Mans, Assen, Red Bull Ring, Misano, Buriram and Motegi, finishing his season with a total of 12 podiums, 6 pole positions and 306 points. After two seasons in the Moto2 category championship, Bagnaia was promoted up to MotoGP with Pramac Ducati.
