Born into a cricketing family in Ireland, Kim Garth made her international debut aged just 14 and at the time, she was the youngest Irishwoman to play international cricket. Both of her parents have represented Ireland and her brother, Jonathan Garth, is also a professional cricketer. Since making her debut, Garth, a pace-bowling all-rounder, was a regular for Ireland and featured in three World Cups for them. In 2020, Garth decided to pursue a career in Australia and signed a two-year contract with Victoria. Two years later, in 2022, she became eligible to represent Australia and she made her Australia debut almost straightaway in a T20I series against India in December of that year. She made her Test debut the following year and was a part of Australia squad for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup. <br/> <br/> <br/> Garth played for the Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder as an international player before signing with the Melbourne Stars as a local in 2021-22. She has played for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred and for the Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL.
