- Broad-shouldered, stylish and explosive right-handed batter. <br/> - Scores majority of his runs square on both sides of the wicket, strong down the ground as well. <br/> - Hailing from the Eastern Cape, schooled at Grey High School in Gqeberha. <br/> - Represented South Africa in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. <br/> - Made his T20I debut in 2023. <br/> - 3rd highest run-getter in the 2024 edition of the SA20 where he amassed 416 runs at an average of 32 and a strike-rate of 135.50 playing for Durban Super Giants. <br/> - Played for Northants in the T20 Blast, scoring 460 runs and 403 runs in 2024 and 2025 respectively. <br/> - Made his ODI debut in February 2025 and scored 150 vs New Zealand which is the highest score by a debutant in ODI history. <br/> - First player with five 50+ scores (150, 83, 57, 88, 85) in the first five ODIs. <br/> - Bought by Lucknow Super Giants for INR 75 lakh at the 2025 IPL auction and featured in just one game. Retained by LSG for the 2026 season. <br/> - After representing Durban for three seasons, he played for Sunrisers Eastern Cape (the eventual champions) in 2025-26.
