When at the crossroads of choosing between hockey and cricket, Prema Rawat chose the latter and committed to it. A natural athlete, Rawat is a multi-faceted player. She’s a swift fielder, a leg-spinner and a composed and capable pinch-hitter - all skills she demonstrated playing at the domestic level. Hailing from Uttarakhand, Rawat’s strong all-round performances at the domestic level in the 2023-24 season caught the attention of scouts. Elation would await her at the 2025 WPL Auction as RCB secured her services for a whopping Rs. 1.2 Cr. She played three games for the franchise that season and picked up one wicket.
