Eric Daniel "Rick" Brunson (born June 14, 1972) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Temple Owls. He played nine seasons in the NBA and has worked as an assistant coach for several teams. Brunson, alongside his son Jalen, won an NBA championship with the Knicks in 2026.
