He is a right-arm pace bowler who made his debut for Essex in the 2016 season against the touring West Indies. <br/> <br/> Cook picked up 18 wickets at an average of 15.89 in 2017 season and played a pivotal role in the county winning championship. He ended the season on a terrific note with five-wicket-hauls in the consecutive matches. Since then, he has been a regular part of the Essex pace battery. <br/>
