Playing as a finisher, he smashed 225 runs at a SR of 187.28, which included a quickfire 58 against Bengal in a record run-chase. His exploits in that tournament helped him fetch a INR 5.8 crore deal with Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2024.
