107 golfers qualify for 2026 U.S. Open, 49 spots remain

The 2026 U.S. Open is set for Shinnecock Hills with 107 golfers already qualified out of a total 156-player field. Final qualifying takes place today, June 8, with multiple sites across the U.S. and Canada hosting the 36-hole events. Preston Stout and J.T. Poston are the latest additions to the qualified list, following their recent accomplishments. Players can still secure spots through performance in upcoming tournaments or by climbing into the top 60 of the Official World Golf Ranking by June 15. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will not compete due to eligibility and personal matters, respectively.
