160 Years Project' encourages research on women's golf history

Julie Walker is spearheading the '160 Years Project', urging golf clubs to investigate and share the history of women in golf. The initiative coincides with the 160th anniversary of the first women's medal competition and invites clubs worldwide to participate by looking into their own histories. Clubs can register through an online form and will be plotted on a global map showcasing their efforts. Events are planned for October 5-10 next year to celebrate and acknowledge women's contributions to the sport.
