2016 St. Vincent College softball team to join Hall of Fame

College SportsRockwood Area graduate Samantha Emert and her 2016 softball teammates will be inducted into the St. Vincent College Athletics Hall of Fame on October 24. Under coach Nicole Karr, the team set a program record with a 29-15 overall record and captured its first Presidents' Athletic Conference Tournament championship. They also achieved the school's first NCAA tournament victory against Virginia Wesleyan College.
