2026 NBA Summer League games start today in California and Utah

The 2026 NBA Summer League begins today with the California Classic Summer League featuring games in San Francisco. The first matchup is between the Heat and Spurs at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the Lakers against the Warriors Gold at 10:30 p.m. ET. Simultaneously, the Salt Lake City Summer League kicks off tomorrow with a matchup between the Grizzlies and Thunder. Prominent rookies, including No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa for the Wizards, will make their debuts during these preliminary events, which lead into the full 30-team Summer League in Las Vegas starting July 9.
