Cornerback Jewellz Tapp from New Orleans has committed to TCU for the 2027 recruiting class. Tapp stands 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds, having recorded 24 tackles, nine pass breakups, and five interceptions during his junior season at John Curtis in River Ridge, Louisiana. He also had offers from Houston, Kansas State, and Cincinnati before choosing TCU, becoming the eighth overall recruit and second cornerback in the Horned Frogs' class. Tapp was recognized as a District 9-5A Second Team player while helping his team achieve a 9-3 record last season.
