Addison Medeck, a four-star center prospect from Papillion, Nebraska, committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on July 3, 2026. Despite receiving an offer from Iowa, Medeck chose to remain in her home state. The Papillion-La Vista South High School standout is ranked No. 43 overall and No. 8 among centers in her class. Last season, she averaged 16.5 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. With this commitment, Iowa will need to look elsewhere to strengthen their center position.
