4-star WR Amare Patterson set to announce college commitment

Four-star wide receiver recruit Amare Patterson will announce his college commitment on Saturday, June 20, at 6 p.m. ET. UGA is among his top four schools, which also include North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia Tech. Patterson, a high school player from Bluffton High School in Ridgeland, South Carolina, is ranked as the No. 173 recruit in the country and the top wide receiver in South Carolina. He has recently visited each of his top schools and recently received an offer from North Carolina on May 26. Patterson had a productive junior season with 48 receptions for 877 yards and 10 touchdowns, showcasing his elite speed as a track athlete with a 10.5-second time in the 100 meters.
