49ers and Titans engage in multiple fights during joint practice session

Summary

The San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans held a joint practice on August 11, which was marked by significant on-field conflicts. Reports indicate that there were at least eight fights during the session, which is considered unusual for practice settings. The intensity may be heightened due to Titans' head coach Robert Saleh formerly serving as the 49ers' defensive coordinator. This joint practice leads into the teams' first preseason game set to occur two days later, adding tension to their upcoming matchup.
