The San Francisco 49ers canceled their mandatory minicamp scheduled for next week, citing perfect attendance in the offseason program as a reward. The decision follows heightened social media activity from wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, including a video message implied to be directed towards the team. Aiyuk has not participated in offseason workouts and reportedly is looking to leave the 49ers for the Washington Commanders. The ongoing situation indicates potential tension as Aiyuk's contract and injury history complicate trade options. The 49ers now have an extended break until training camp begins next month.
