49ers consider playing starters in preseason finale against Raiders

The San Francisco 49ers are contemplating whether to play some of their starters in the preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night. Head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that while many starters may rest, a few could see action. Potential starters include WR De'Zhaun Stribling, DT Alfred Collins, and LB Jaden Dugger, each needing more game experience before the regular season opener against the Los Angeles Rams. The final evaluation could influence their chances of starting in Week 1. Shanahan’s comments suggest that the coaching staff aims to finalize personnel decisions ahead of the regular season.
