49ers cornerback Nate Hobbs faces uncertain future after groin injury

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nate Hobbs is expected to miss "a few weeks" due to a groin injury he sustained during a joint practice with the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Hobbs' condition after a preseason game, indicating that the injury will hinder his chances of securing a roster spot ahead of the regular season. This injury comes as the 49ers are reworking their cornerback lineup, leaving them with limited depth; another cornerback, Jack Jones, also suffered an injury during the same practice, further complicating their situation.
