49ers could field five skill players aged 30 or older with Deebo Samuel

The San Francisco 49ers may become the fourth team in the Super Bowl era to start five non-quarterback skill players aged 30 or older if Deebo Samuel is among the starters. This update follows the team's decision to sign Samuel, replacing 25-year-old Ricky Pearsall with the 30-year-old veteran. Alongside Samuel, the potential lineup could include Mike Evans, Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, and Kyle Juszczyk. Previous teams to achieve this feat include the 2004 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 2003 Denver Broncos, and the 1992 Washington team. The 49ers are counting on these experienced players for the remainder of the season, which raises questions about their field-stretching capabilities without Pearsall.
