49ers linked to potential trade for quarterback Shedeur Sanders

Summary

The San Francisco 49ers are considered a possible trade destination for Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Sanders is managing a competition with Deshaun Watson for the starting role after a mixed season where he showed potential despite challenges with the team's overall performance. Analysts suggest the 49ers might trade backup Mac Jones to acquire Sanders and address their crowded quarterback room.
