The San Francisco 49ers placed wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling on injured reserve on September 19 due to an ankle injury that requires surgery, sidelining him for about 10 weeks. To fill his spot on the active roster, defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo has been promoted from practice squad after previously participating in the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams. Okoronkwo registered three pressures in that game and will be available for the Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Further changes to the practice squad are yet to be announced.
