The Philadelphia 76ers traded Paul George and four draft picks to the Boston Celtics for Jaylen Brown, making a significant roster move. This trade is seen as an attempt to attract LeBron James, with sources indicating that the Sixers hope the addition of Brown will gain James' attention. Jaylen Brown, a championship-level player and former NBA Finals MVP, joins a projected strong starting lineup alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. The Sixers are also positioned to make further moves, with over $10 million in space under the hard cap and additional exceptions available. The Celtics' decision to trade Brown may reflect market conditions and team performance metrics suggesting they could improve without him on the court.
