Aaliyah McCormick of Oregon secured her second consecutive national championship in the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor meet on June 13. McCormick finished the race with a time of 12.47 seconds, only three-hundredths of a second shy of her personal best. This victory was significant in helping Oregon secure a fourth-place finish in the team standings. Kentucky's Emmi Scales initially crossed second but was disqualified, moving UCLA's Celeste Polzonetti to second and Ohio State's Janela Spencer to third. McCormick also previously won the NCAA indoor title in the 60 hurdles in March.
