New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone has confirmed that Max Fried will start one of the two games against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, Aug. 29. Fried has a 2.81 ERA over 15 starts this season but missed nearly three months due to a bone bruise on his throwing elbow. He returned to action after throwing 60 pitches during live batting practice earlier this week. The Yankees currently sit at 75-58, four games behind the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East and two games ahead of the Red Sox for a Wild Card spot.
