Abby Vander Wal exits match during Texas Longhorns game against TCU

During the first set of the Texas Longhorns' match against TCU on August 30, outside hitter Abby Vander Wal left the game due to an injury. Vander Wal fell while chasing a ball and was seen clutching her knee, requiring assistance to leave the court as she could not put weight on her leg. Prior to her exit, she contributed two kills and helped initiate two runs with her serve. The Longhorns went on to sweep TCU, but Vander Wal did not return to the game.
