Abdulmalik seeks transfer after £1.5m offer rejected by Boreham Wood
Summary

Abdul Abdulmalik, forward for Boreham Wood, has requested to leave the club after they rejected a £1.5 million offer from Swedish side Djurgarden. The National League team previously declined a £1 million bid from the same club earlier this month. Abdulmalik, who joined Boreham Wood as a free agent in 2024, enjoyed a successful 2025-26 season, scoring 17 goals and assisting 10 in their play-off run. Despite this potential record-setting transfer fee for a fifth-tier player in England, Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard stated that Abdulmalik remains a crucial part of the team, having been left out of their recent match against Forest Green.
