Abilene Christian begins renovations at Elmer Gray Stadium this summer

Abilene Christian University has started renovations at Elmer Gray Stadium, home to the university's soccer and track and field programs. The project, which began in late May, includes resurfacing the track for the first time since the stadium's opening in 2015. Facilities are expected to be ready for use by the start of the 2026-27 school year. The upgrades include new event runways and a video scoreboard. Elmer Gray Stadium also hosts high school track competitions and UIL soccer playoffs.
