Academy Sports and Outdoors hosts H-Town Classic youth basketball tournament

Academy Sports and Outdoors will host a three-on-three youth basketball tournament at its Katy location on October 17 and 18. The event, titled the H-Town Classic, features divisions for middle and high school boys and girls. Games will take place across six half-courts in the store's front lot at 23155 Katy Freeway. The tournament aims to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. Participants include up to 128 teams, each guaranteed at least two games in the double-elimination format. Registration is open on the Academy website until October 9 or until capacity is reached, with a $100 entry fee per team.
