A new surface has been installed at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, home of the Steelers. Precision Turf completed the installation of Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass, following concerns about the quality of the previous grass, which received an F-minus rating in the NFLPA report cards. Steelers owner Art Rooney II acknowledged earlier this year the need for an upgrade and indicated a potential shift to artificial turf if performance does not improve. This change comes as both the Steelers and Pitt play home games at the stadium, contributing to field wear.
