Action Network study identifies Indianapolis Colts fans as league’s most negative

An analysis of Reddit comments conducted by Action Network ranks the Indianapolis Colts as having the most negative fanbase in the NFL. Researchers reviewed approximately 2.5 million comments across all 32 team subreddits over the past year. The study found that 26.3% of Colts-related entries carried a negative tone, placing the group ahead of both the New York Jets and the Cincinnati Bengals. Additionally, the data indicates that 15% of comments regarding the team contained profanity. This current data follows a similar analysis from last year that positioned the fanbase as the most foul-mouthed and the third most negative in the league. The methodology involved evaluating at least 40,000 comments for each franchise to determine emotional sentiment and language usage.
