Adaejah Hodge sets collegiate record as Georgia wins NCAA title

Adaejah Hodge of Georgia won the NCAA outdoor track and field 200-meter national title in 21.68 seconds, breaking Abby Steiner's record. This victory contributed to the Bulldogs securing the NCAA team title with a total of 50 points at Hayward Field. Hodge had previously set the 100-meter collegiate record earlier in the week, clocking 10.63 seconds. Teammate Dejanea Oakley also set a new collegiate record in the 400 meters with a time of 48.79 seconds. Arkansas senior Sanu Jallow broke the 800 meters collegiate record, finishing in 1:56.85. However, Alabama junior Doris Lemngole was disqualified after winning the 5,000 meters, handing victory to New Mexico's Marion Jepngetich.
