Adam Lawrence in talks to extend role as Manchester United Under-21 coach

Adam Lawrence, interim manager of Manchester United's Under-21 team, is in negotiations to extend his position at Old Trafford. He replaced Travis Binnion, who moved up to the first team in January 2026. Lawrence led the Under-21s to a second-place finish in the Premier League 2 and reached the play-off final, where they lost 1-0 to Brighton & Hove Albion. His return to the club has been seen as beneficial due to his prior experience with United's youth system. Discussions are ongoing regarding a potential contract extension as Lawrence's current deal expires at the end of June.
