ESPN analyst Adam Schefter suggested that Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft should accept a contract offer before the team's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. With Week 1 approaching on September 13, Kraft remains unsigned amid complex negotiations following his return from an ACL injury. Schefter cited the risks of turning down guaranteed money, noting that other players like Baker Mayfield and Christian Gonzalez secured deals just before the start of the season. Beyond the status of Kraft, the Packers organization is managing personnel uncertainty involving running back Josh Jacobs. Jacobs, who pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, is awaiting a specific timeline from the NFL regarding potential discipline. Green Bay is scheduled to face the Vikings at 4:25 PM ET this Sunday.
