Adam Silver to assist with Buss family situation in Los Angeles

Summary

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will reportedly intervene in the Buss family's ongoing issues concerning the Los Angeles Lakers. Sources indicate that Silver, who has maintained a close relationship with Jeanie Buss, aims to help resolve the turmoil surrounding team ownership. The situation follows a significant sale involving another franchise, as the Minnesota Timberwolves were recently sold for $4.5 billion, a decision seen as a contrast to the complexities within the Lakers' management. No details on immediate actions have been provided, but Silver's involvement suggests a proactive approach to stabilize the situation in Los Angeles.
