AFC Bournemouth left-back Adrien Truffert has been named in the extended France squad for the first selection cycle under new manager Zinédine Zidane. The 24-year-old defender joined the Premier League side last summer and has maintained a consistent role, starting all 38 matches for Bournemouth during the 2025-26 season. He has also featured in each of the club's four league matches during the current campaign. A graduate of the Stade Rennais FC academy, Truffert previously made nearly 200 appearances for the French club before his move to England. He earned his first senior international appearance in September 2022, playing 25 minutes during a Nations League match against Denmark. His inclusion in this preliminary group follows a sustained period of regular playing time in the Premier League.
