Aerial Powers reflects on international basketball experience with Team USA

Former WNBA guard Aerial Powers recently completed a month-long international tour competing in three FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series events. Representing Team USA alongside Madison Scott, Mikayla Blakes, and Taylor Bigby, Powers traveled to Tokyo, Bordeaux, and Debrecen throughout August. The team recorded its best result with a third-place finish in Bordeaux, while Powers contributed nine points during a single game in Debrecen. Though she is not currently on a WNBA roster for the 2026 season, Powers continues to compete through Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball and has signed with the Turkish club Çanakkale Belediyespor. She previously played for multiple WNBA franchises, including the Indiana Fever, Washington Mystics, and Minnesota Lynx. Powers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the United States, citing the experience as a meaningful chapter in her ongoing professional basketball career.
