One last show before AEW’s new Redemption PPV in Montreal this Sunday (July 26). That would be Saturday night’s Collision, which was filmed after Weds., July 22’s Dynamite in Nashville’s The Pinnacle. The Young Bucks defeated Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Gracia, despite interference from PAC and Claudio Castagnoli. The Bucks confronted Jon Moxley, who’d been at the commentary desk, and Mox’s Redemption partner Will Ospreay got involved. Persephone defeated Angelica Risk Backstage promo from Speedball Mike Bailey about Sunday’s Ladder Match Jeff Jarrett joined the commentary team, and The Demand may have as well. There was a match between SkyFlight (Matt Sydal, Scorpio Sky & Dante Martin) and The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) that Insider didn’t have a result for Nick Wayne defeated AR Fox to qualify for Sunday’s Ladder Match The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) defeat The Outrunners and Dalton Castle; not clear if this was a Trios title defense for The Conglomerators. Afterwards The Demand and The Lethal Twist attack all six men in the ring, and Ricochet took El Kabong from Double-J to end the segment. El Clon def. Lio Rush to qualify for Sunday’s Ladder Match. Hologram’s evil clone continued to beat up Rush post-match, but Speedball and Komander came to the rescue Thekla & Hikaru Shida def. Maya World & Willow Nightingale, with Thekla pinning World after she’d taken a kendo stick shot. Other than Tony Khan doing the Timecop and thanks bits, that’s it.
