AFC Wimbledon has signed striker Jayden Stockley from Port Vale on a two-year deal, adding him as the club's sixth summer signing. Stockley, 32, has moved to his 15th club in a career that includes stints at Bournemouth, Aberdeen, Exeter City, Preston, and Charlton Athletic. Last season, he made 22 appearances for Port Vale, scoring three goals, before the team was relegated to the fourth tier. He reunites with his former Charlton manager, Jonnie Jackson, at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. The terms of the transfer fee have not been disclosed.
