Anthony Richardson will remain with the Indianapolis Colts after his agent, Deiric Jackson, confirmed that trade discussions are no longer active. The former first-round draft pick has been promoted to the team's primary backup quarterback position behind starter Daniel Jones for the upcoming season opener. Richardson previously requested a trade in February following a series of injuries and a season-ending orbital bone fracture. Although general manager Chris Ballard explored potential moves, no deals were completed during the offseason. Richardson subsequently participated in team activities and competed for the roster spot. The Colts are scheduled to face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
